Use Flags for an Instant Sales Boost
When sales begin to slump, or if they never even started, creative use of flags and banners can draw customer attention and kickstart purchasing.
Here in America, we love flags – they are used throughout every branch of society by people of all ages, races, beliefs and for almost any purpose. Whether it is to show national pride with the star-spangled banner, to support a local sports team or to declare an affinity with a particular cause, flags are a huge part of our culture and so we instinctively look to see what a flag shows and stands for. This means having a flag display outside or inside our store can almost guarantee attention for whatever service or product we decide to promote. Here are a few ideas you could use for your promotional efforts.
Flags to Promote Products
Simply having a flag either side of a product display will immediately catch the eye as it stands out from the rest. It is important of course that you don’t have flag displays everywhere but save them for where you really want to see a boost. Too many and the effect is lost. If you choose to promote a new product, having flags either side and in a prominent position will bring people to see what it is all about. The flags themselves can be relatively simple but should also clearly entice people. This can be by use of attractive colors, text or graphics on the flag but even having your own branding on the flag can highlight the area. That approach means it is easy to move the flags to another display when you decide to change the promotion. Talk to our design team to find out more about different ideas and options.
Flags to Promote a Store
Using flags outside is a great way to get people to identify and learn about your store. When you use long-lasting and high-quality flags, you can be sure that they will continue to look well for a long time – beware of using cheap materials as when your flag looks damaged or worn, that actually sends out a bad message about your store! Be creative in how you use your flags. Can you put some at the roadside? Are there specific spaces that can be easily seen by passers-by? Think about what the purpose of the flag is – is it to get people to come in or to inform them of what’s inside?
