When any government or military agency is working in a public area, it is prudent to ensure that their property and individuals involved are clearly identifiable to ensure there isn’t any interference from the public. In addition, when seeking to engage the public through community outreach or open events, having proper signage and well-designed materials can really capture the attention of those they are seeking to engage with.
While “branding” and “marketing” may not be something that government and military agencies may consider all of the time, they need to be considered whenever dealing with or being around the public. How an agency looks is essential to how effective the public image of the agency is, in addition to the common-sense need to be easily identifiable.
